The WVU Vaccine Development Center (VDC) develops and improves vaccines and therapeutics through science and industry partnership. Our mission is to develop safe and protective vaccines and therapeutics that prevent infectious diseases and cancer.  The VDC serves as a conduit for university and industry researchers to collaborate and improve the current state of vaccines and therapeutics. The VDC is interested in sponsored research programs and collaborating with industry to test new antigens, adjuvants and platforms for both vaccines and therapeutics.

GOALS
• Support vaccine and therapeutic research projects for infectious diseases and cancer.
• Facilitate training the next generation of scientists and physicians.
• Serve as the interface between WVU researchers and industry partners to develop innovative solutions for infectious diseases and cancer.
