Isvary is Senior Manager at MicroSave and has a regional focus on the Mekong region. She has more than 10 years of experience spanning both the public and private sectors. She started her career at the Singapore Economic Development Board, as part of the team responsible for building and for driving the policies to spur research and investments in Clean Energy. Since completing a dual-degree Masters in Public Policy at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and Sciences Po Paris, she has specialised in the international development sector, specifically working on poverty and vulnerability alleviation through economic development and financial inclusion. Her areas of expertise include strategy and project design and management in Digital Financial Services.
She has a proven track-record in partnership management across a variety of international organisations such as Agence Française de Développement, the Asian Development Bank and the UN in the Palestinian Territories and across the ASEAN region. Before joining MicroSave, Isvary was a founding member of the SHIFT programme team at UNCDF Bangkok. In this capacity, she contributed to the programme’s formulation and development and also managed the policy research and advocacy efforts across ASEAN member states, which led to the endorsement of a dedicated Financial Inclusion advisory committee by the region’s Finance Ministers. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Medical Sciences with a specialisation in Immunology from the Australian National University. She is fluent in Tamil and speaks conversational German.
