Tom Armstrong graduated in the mid-1980s with an MSc in Civil Engineering. His career spans some 40 years as an international consultant. Tom has worldwide experience in planning appraisal, design and implementation of urban/rural water infrastructure projects; his passion is a groundwater; he co-authored the RWSN published Code of Practice for Cost-effective Boreholes. He directs JB Drilling, a leading borehole contractor operating in Kenya and South Sudan and Great Rift Water a new company focused on water infrastructure projects. Tom is Chair of the Kenya Water Industry Association.
