Sareen Malik, Programme Coordinator, Africa Civil Society for Water and Sanitation

Driven by the belief that good sector governance is key to improved sector performance and having been the in water governance field for the past ten years , Sareen has the capacity and experience to deliver on the objective of promoting water sector governance. Her knowledge of sector governance was formed through her practical experience when she was the lead of the Water Governance component which was part of the service delivery and citizen engagement Programme in Transparency International Kenya from 2007 to 2013 and she continued this work by joining the Kenya Water and Sanitation Civil Society Network ( KEWASNET) as the Programmes Coordinator from 2013 to 2017 reaching over 200 organisations in Kenya . As of July 2017 she is supporting the coordination of the Africa Civil Society Network or Water and Sanitation ( ANEW) .
