Mr Andrew Mathwin | Marketing Director Playup International
Andrew’s experience in the marketing field is vast with more than 12 years experience across Marketing, PR and social media. He also spent time as a Media Advisor to a former Western Australian Government Minister. Andrew has worked in land development, aviation, sports, health, mining to name a few and provides a unique perspective on how social media is now evolving and how it needs to be part of a larger but structured Marketing experience. Andrew was a Senior Consultant at international PR firm Professional Public Relations, working with a broad range of clients, before taking up the position to head the Social Media Strategy at Jetstar. This included managing six natural disasters using social media channels. He is now Marketing Director for PlayUp – a new social network dedicated to live sport – managing the global marketing presence in the US, Europe, China, Japan and Australia.
