Effective 01/01/2016, Dr. Sher-Lin Ee will take on the position as Head of Innovation Networks & Communications (INC) for South East Asia, Australia & New Zealand (SEAANZ). In her new role, Dr. Ee will be responsible for managing all INC activities including Industry Cross Innovation (IXI), Technology Scouting (TS), Scientific Relations Management (SRM) and Crowdsourcing & Digital based Innovation Approaches in the SEAANZ region.
Dr. Sher Lin Ee started with Evonik July 2011 as a process engineer in Hanau, Germany working on computer-aided process engineering of the Isophorone plant investment built in China. In 2012, she moved to Marl Germany, where she works on the Methionine plant investment that was built in Singapore. Her responsibilities were the development of computer-aided processes; towards 2013, she took over as project director in executing the computer-aided setup including the relevant distributed control system and training of the specialists. In Dec 2014, she moved back to Singapore for a new role as innovation and technology scouting manager for the region, before been promoted to be the strategic lead for innovation management in 2016
Dr. Sher-Lin Ee completed her doctoral studies in the National University of Singapore specializing in applied mathematics of chemical engineering problems. Before her doctoral studies, she obtained her Bachelors of Chemical Engineering at University of Adelaide, Australia.
