Scott Ellis, Programme Director - Department Stores Expansion, Al Tayer Group

Scott Ellis is a programme and project management leader with a track record in delivering large and complex business and technology change programmes for blue-chip organisations. Within Al Tayer Retail, Scott oversees the department store expansion programme which has seen a new Bloomingdale’s open in Kuwait and in future, will herald the opening of the first Macy's outside of the United States. These stores embrace new and emerging digital and omnichannel capabilities to bring flagship shopping experiences to our customers both in key destinations and online. Scott's expertise was recognised by the Institute of Consulting and Chartered Management Institute (UK), who named him their 'Consultant of the Year' at the 2012 National Management and Leadership Awards. He led engagements in the UK, US and Europe on behalf of Deloitte and Accenture before he was recruited by Al Tayer Group and moved to Dubai in 2013.
