Priya is the Head of Digital Strategy and Commercialization at ABSA (formerly Barclays Africa Group Limited) and has 20 years’ experience in Digital from running her own tech start-ups to building and running Digital products in some of the largest banking and retail entities on the African continent. Her skills span across digital strategy, transformation, commercialization, ecommerce, design and building of digital products and marketing in the online, retail and banking sectors in the USA and Africa. She is passionate about financial inclusion in frontier markets, FinTech, Human Centered Design and the Digital Revolution. She is a fellow of the Global Women’s Leadership Network in San Francisco and an avid participant of the tech start-up space in Africa. She attained her Computer Engineering degree in the USA and MBA in South Africa.
