Currently serving in a business advisory role as Senior Chief of Staff for the African Consumer & Industrial Products Industry group of Deloitte. Dylan works through the value chain from manufacturers to retailers. He is responsible for global and local stakeholder engagement, industry strategy and operations, with a Pan-African growth strategy. A qualified futurist (Cum Laude) Dylan provides scenario based, systemic thinking approaches to solutions in an uncertain, disruptive and exponential world.
He is Chairman of the Board of the Africa Ecommerce Forum and represents industry stakeholders on the National Treasure ICT eCommerce committee and is an active member of the NBF Africa Industrialisation working party. As a Board member he leads the future facing strategy for iconic Arts NGO MIDm. Dylan has presented, spoken at and facilitated numerous executive public and private sector discussions locally and internationally including at and on topics such as: the Global Digital Leaders’ Summit, AU/NEPAD Private Sector summit, IoTAfrica Forum, Agri in Africa, Ecommerce in Africa, Manufacturing Competitiveness in Africa, Export led growth, route-to-market and retail in Africa. For 2018 he is on the Advisory Board of and presenting at the Africa Trade & Investment Global Summit, a judge of the Africa Rising Stars Awards, Technology Top100 SA Awards & Creative Business Cup. He has been invited by the UN and WEF to host an Africa Ecommerce session in Geneva which he hopes local and pan-African private and public sector representatives will participate in.
