Sumit Chandna is a hardcore retail professional, with over 14 years of experience in various retail functions, having worked for brands like Shoppers Stop and Hypercity. He is a Marketing and Merchandising post graduate and currently works for Aditya Birla Retail as Vice President (FMCG and Private Label). He has a deep understanding of the Indian shopper and consumer through various product and format lenses, having worked from Hypermarkets, Department Stores to Convenience Stores and from High Fashion to Food and Grocery. Over his career he has developed and nurtured several private label programs/brands over the years in Fashion and Food & Grocery. Sumit, is associated with several educational institutions in capacities ranging from a member of the advisory board to conducting specialist retail courses in management campuses across the Asian region.
