Jeffrey is the elder son of the late founder of Everrise, one of the largest retailers in East Malaysia. Jeffrey was appointed as the Group Executive Director of the company in 2004, while pursuing his Ph.D studies with an Australia university. Since his appointment, Jeffrey has embarked aggressive reformation to the company's merchandising strategies, store plans and formats, and operational efficiencies. Coming from the financial research background, Jeffrey has develop fond interest in the retail industry because of its ever changing and dynamic nature. He is also a frequent speaker at retail conferences in Hong Kong and China
