Mr. Charles Cosgrove recently completed a 15-year career with the Ayala Group in various senior positions, including Member of Group Management Committee and most recently, President of Ayala International (Singapore), with overall responsibilities for the group’s substantial real estate investment activities outside the Philippines. While at Ayala, Charles co-founded Arch Capital Management with Richard Yue in 2006. Arch Capital presently manages nearly $700 million in capital across two Asian property funds. Now a Partner of The Rohatyn Group (TRG), Charles is responsible for overseeing the firm’s stake in Arch Capital Management, growing TRG’s private investing business and handling key institutional relationships in Asia. A resident of Singapore since 1991, he began his career in 1980 as an Associate Lawyer at Shearman & Sterling, New York, where he was involved in real estate acquisitions, finance, corporate transactions and international business structuring for offshore private clients and US affiliates of foreign companies. Charles obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Stanford University and a Juris Doctor Degree from Georgetown University, U.S. He is also a retired Member of the New York State Bar.
