Oscar Luo, Research Scientist, Australian E-Health Research Centre, CSIRO Australian Animal Health Laboratory

Dr Oscar Luo completed is PhD at the John Curtin School of Medical Research, The Australian National University in 2011. Since then he spent near to 5 years as post-doctoral fellow and computational biologist at the Genome Institute of Singapore and The Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine, Connecticut, USA, studying on chromatin-chromatin and RNA-chromatin interactions using high-throughput sequencing. He has since brought his skills and knowledge back to Australia and is now working at CSIRO and Australian e-Health developing cloud-based analytical tools for omics data.
