Graduated in 1982 from the college of Engineering and Petroleum at Kuwait University, obtained a master's degree in Urban Planning from University of South California (USC) in 1989 and joined al Wafra Investment Company as a manager for the direct projects, in its New York Office and later became deputy general manager of al Wafra investment at their office in Kuwait. Where he managed financial and real estate portfolios for the company, and headed several investment portfolios physically located in Europe, USA and Asia.
In 1996, he established a private company (International Company for Logistical Projects) becoming its Managing Director. Under his management the Company started several offset projects; one of them is the National Shooting Ranges Company, a company listed in the Kuwait Stock exchange and later became the Chairman of the Board from 1998 until 2005. He thou moved as Chairman of the Board to KDL a company specialized in construction and logistics, when he worked until 2010.
Thereafter, he dedicated his time to his private company, at the same time worked as consultant to various companies in Kuwait and the Gulf.
He became a member of various companies and higher council like Kuwait Aromatics Company which owns the (Paraziline Phaut), member of the Higher traffic Council, and President of Association of Engineering Arbitrator at Ministry of Justice.
