Mr. Youssef Draiss, holds a state Engineer Diploma obtained in 1992 and began his career at the National Agency of Cadastre Land Conservation and Cartography. From 1997 to 2003, Mr. Draiss practiced at the Inspectorate General of Territorial Administration Ministry of Interior. Promoted in 2003, he became division chief at the General Management of Local authorities of the Department of the Interior. In August 2007, Mr. Draiss is nominated Director of the programs pole of Casablanca Town Hall. And in 2008, he is appointed as General Manager of Casa Transports SA, the company in charge of the of the construction of public transportation in dedicated lanes network amongst which the first tramway line of Casablanca.
In May 2013, the MENA Executive Committee of the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) appoints Mr. Youssef Draiss as Vice President representing the Maghreb Region.
Along with the State Engineer Diploma, Mr. Draiss thrived to go further with his studies and obtained a Law Degree from Mohammed V University in Rabat, a Higher Education Management Diploma from the High Institute of Trade and Company Management and finally a Diploma from the High Institute of Territorial Development and planning of ENCP-Paris. Born in 1968, Mr. Youssef Draiss is married and father of two children.
