Vladimir Vladimirov has served as CEO of “BDZ Holding” EAD since November 2014. His career at the company started in October 2009 when he became Chairman of the Board of Directors of “BDZ Holding” EAD. He held this position until April 2013.
During this period the structure and operations of the Bulgarian Railways underwent significant reforms and Mr. Vladimirov’s initiatives and efforts were mainly focused in this transformation. 
In his position as CEO, he is regarded as a great leader and a trusted financial expert, he has a long and sustained career as a manager and a consultant.
Throughout the years, Mr. Vladimirov has been in charge of numerous companies in different economic sectors: construction, fuel wholesale and retail, manufacturing of products for the food industry.
Mr. Vladimirov has a Master in Business Administration degree, from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina – Columbia, South Carolina, USA and the Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien – Vienna, Austria. He also graduated the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) – Sofia, Bulgaria with a Master’s degree in International Economic Relations and Financial Management.
He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) – London, UK. 
In his home country Mr. Vladimirov is a member of the National Assembly of the Bulgarian Association of Industrial Capital.
During his free time Vladimir Vladimirov likes to go to the gym and also enjoys watching and playing football. His favourite teams are CSKA (Sofia) and Liverpool (UK). He fancies jazz music and his favourite performer is Sade.
