Stephen Lines FCIOB, FICCP, MCCM 
Now approaching 40 years of construction industry experience Stephen has worked across all sectors with 15 years main contracting, 15 years client-side, and 10 years with International Consultancies.
Stephen employs a practical hands-on approach to the management of multiple international projects with values in excess of $2.5 billion and is at home both on the delivery side as a P.D. and in a senior contracts and commercial role. 
Having extensive international experience, including over 14 years in the Middle East, Stephen has been working on the Qatar Rail Metro Program since January 2012 where, following a long term secondment to the Qatar Rail Strategic Program Team, he has since September 2013 worked direct with Qatar Rail as a Senior Commercial Manager on the Red Line South project. 
As a Trustee, Fellow and Regional Past Regional President of CIOB Stephen spends much of his spare time mentoring young professionals, speaking at conferences and working as an ambassador in the drive for better working conditions for migrant workers and has driven improvements through driving awareness of conditions throughout the supply chain.
Having delivered projects in all sectors, from major civil infrastructure and rail to super high rise mixed use developments Stephen believes one easy sentence sums up how delivery in construction can be achieved with less risk, “Get it right first time”.
