Mr. Mohamed Siala

Qualification:    
July 1989   BSc. From Electrical and Electronic Department "Telecommunication specialty" Engineering Faculty, Tripoli University -Libya

After graduation on 1989 and spending 3years in Export&Import business I joined Oil&Gas sector for 4years working as telecommunication engineer in Sirte Oil Company,then i established IT and Electronic related office called Zajel for Telecommunications and Computer Services in Tripoli worked for 5years till I joined the railway sector on 2001, since that time im being working for Libyan Railroads as Signaling and telecommunications related works, where I involved in all S&T design processes conducted by different international designers, German De-Consult, DB-International and GI-Consult.
Worked as Project manager of "Update and Redesign of Ras Ejdir-Sirt railway line project" of 640Km of railway, conducted by GI-Consult German office, and followed the S&T design process being done by DB-International for Sirte-Benghazi line of 545km.
 I followed the bidding and tendering process of Signaling,Telecommunications and power supply of Libyan railway projects, and followed the S&T project execution being working by AnsaldoSTS until stopped due to revolution on 2011.
Now I’m the head of S&T div. in Engineering Department in Libyan Railroads/LR. 
In addition to the above I have been nominated as member of Express Train company(ETC) management board, this company completely owned by LR and posses infrastructure of more than 70MioEuros, where I spent 4years since 2009 then I became a chairman of the board on 2012 till today.

Summary of tenders projects in Libyan Railway projects I involved in:
Participated as member in committees of negotiation and evaluation process of the following projects in Libyan Railroads/LR:
•    Execution of railway line infrastructure of 1500Km with CCECC Chinese company of value exceeds 2.3bio Euro (Exc. S&T system)
•    Execution of railway line infrastructure of 545Km with RZD Russian company of value exceeds 2.3bio Euro 
•    Signaling and Telecommunication Project for RasEjdir-Sirt + Hisha-Sabha railway line of 1500Km and value of about 600 mio€
Execution of Tripoli Metro project of of 47Km long with budget around 1.8bio Euro
