Ciro Biderman is a Professor in the graduate and undergraduate programs in public administration and in economics at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV); associated research at the Center for the Study of the Politics and Economics of the Public Sector (CEPESP/FGV); and a research affiliated in the department of urban studies and planning (DUSP) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He got his post doc in Urban Economics at MIT on 2007 and his PhD in economics at FGV/EAESP on 2001. His research interests include urban and regional economics focused on public policies at the sub-national level, with particular emphasis on transport economics and land policies. He is currently the Chief of Innovation Officer at São Paulo City and the coordinator of mobiLab the mobility laboratory for open data for the City of São Paulo.

Ciro Biderman é Professor nos cursos de graduação e pós-graduação em administração pública e em economia da Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV); pesquisador principal do Centro de Estudos de Política e Economia do Setor Público (CEPESP/FGV); e pesquisador afiliado do departamento de estudos urbanos e planejamento do Massachusetts Institute of Technology (DUSP/MIT). Doutor em Economia pela FGV em 2001 e pos doutor pelo DUSP/MIT em 2007 em Economia Urbana. Seu interesse de estudo inclui economia regional e urbana focado em políticas públicas no nível sub-nacional com ênfase em transportes e uso do solo. Atualmente é diretor de Inovação da São Paulo Negócios da Prefeitura de São Paulo.
