Maarten Wegdam, PhD, is co-founder and CEO of EU Netherlands based tech company Inverid, creators of ReadID. ReadID is the flag ship product of Inverid for NFC-first mobile identity verification. Maarten is an expert in the area of digital identity and online identity verification. Maarten is both CEO of Inverid as well as lead of the technical team of ReadID. Maarten studied computer science at the University of Groningen and obtained his PhD from the university of Twente. After a career in the telecoms industry and in research, he founded Inverid (then called InnoValor).
