We all agree that verifying identities in the physical world has been a relatively straightforward task, but it becomes more challenging in the digital world. It is a problem that needs to be remedied urgently.

Kristel Teyras works as a market owner at Gemalto, Thales Company and is in charge of the Digital Identity Services portfolio within the company’s Government Program business. Current focus areas include mobile identity, mobile driving licenses, mobile healthcare as well as digital identity services and her role encompasses the assessment of market trends, analysis of eco systems and future business models.
With over 18 years’ experience in marketing, and nearly 10 spent within the online banking and digital security industry, Kristel has acquired extensive knowledge in identification and strong authentication technology, she is a member of the Secure Identity Alliance and holds a master in international business & administration as well as a postgraduate diploma in Business Growth & Marketing Strategy.
