Bart Suichies, Head Of Digital And Software, SICPA

Following a BA in science degree in technology management from the University of Groningen with a specialization in IT, Bart Suichies has held numerous technical roles across a range of organizations in media, healthcare and the professional services industry. From founding startups to driving strategic digital initiatives in large multinationals, Bart has developed a passion for product development and the emergent implications of digital technology across business and society. Acting as a linking pin between product innovation and technology strategy, he creates initiates in the domains of identity, value chains and currency that crossover the physical to the digital dimensions. Prior to joining SICPA in 2017 as blockchain program manager, Bart was co-founder and technology lead of the Philips Blockchain Lab. Since June 2018, as head of Digital and Software, Bart leads the SICPA Digital Lab and drives the development of digital competencies across the organization, in addition to “Imagineering” the next generation of trust-enabling security systems for citizens, central banks and governments.
