The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for 2030 sets
Goal 11 ‘Make cities inclusive, safe, innovative, resilient and sustainable’

Students from public schools across NSW will work together as they deploy their technical and strategic skills to consider the issues and work through their ideas make that goal a reality.

Cheer them on, offer guidance and support and be inspired by their creativity potential!

A new group of NSW public school students will take on the challenge every hour. Come and see how they use technology to transform their ideas and creativity. 10am till 2pm!
Crash Test Design
Using the power of 3D design and printing students will prototype and test solutions on the quest to make transport as SAFE as possible
Sustainable Buildings
Using circuit tools including the BBC Microbit, students will work to develop SUSTAINABLE solutions to power our urban infrastructure
Playground of the Future
What would be part of your future playground? Utilising the unplugged computational power of Ozobots, come and witness the future of fun, as students turn ideas and imagination to INCLUSIVE playground reality!
Traffic Jam Slam
Can traffic lights be smart? Can sensors drive efficiency and safety? Can students drive solutions to a problem we encounter each day? Utilising the power of the BBC Microbit which team will develop the most inventive and INNOVATIVE solution!
Autonomous Cars
Fact or fiction? Can students design a car that SAFEly navigate the city? Using the power of the Lego EV3 we are about to find out!
