Jonathan Lockwood Sutton, Intrructor, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

Jonathan has been working in the hospitality and tourism industry, full and part- time, for over 7 years, and has been teaching for about the same time. He has a broad set of experiences spanning numerous sectors and levels (hotels, bars, clubs, online systems, restaurants) within the industry and has worked in a number of different countries including Australia, the Philippines, Thailand and Hong Kong. He started his undergraduate studies in Melbourne, Australia where he gained his Advanced Diploma at William Angliss Institute. Inspired by what he had learnt, he continued his studies and pursued a Bachelor of Business, specializing in Hospitality Management, at Victoria University. Later he completed a Master of Science (part time) & doctorate, where he continued to attain and absorb the ever-changing and growing hospitality and tourism trade. He is currently developing a particular research interest in; entrepreneurship, technology and innovation.
