Originally from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia, I grew up in a small community with a mother who was a teacher, and a father who was a principal. After studying graphic design at university, I decided to move into teaching as I saw a growing trend in educational technology.I taught three years in Queensland, Australia before moving over to Singapore in 2011. I began teaching Kindergarten and was recognized as Cognita Schools Primary Years Teacher of the Year in 2013 in London due to technology integration that assisted students with specific needs. After teaching Kindergarten for three years I moved into a Grade 4 classroom before becoming and Ed-Tech Coach at Stamford American International School. My passion is to use technology to help students achieve varied level of success as well as providing students with opportunities to develop their perspective, determination and social skills.
