Our Story

Africa’s longest running and most successful payments and identification exhibition, Africa’s Payments, Banking and Retail Show now enters its 16th successful year. From humble beginnings as a small conference with a handful of exhibition stands, it now takes nearly 5000 square meters at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg and attracts thousands of visitors. It has grown to become Africa’s most important and best supported payments and identification exhibition and conference.

With the growing focus on cyber security in Africa and the move towards digital economies, we are introducing Digital ID World Africa to help address some of the pressing matters and key opportunities in digital identification.

African governments, municipalities, banks and enterprises are increasingly becoming aware if the benefits of digital identification solutions and are actively investing in it. This is a platform for digital identification innovators and disruptors to showcase their solutions to Africa’s key government and enterprise professionals.

It provides our partners with access to over 800 decision makers from African governments, banks and retailers, who are traditionally difficult to reach. Billions of dollars of business have either been initiated, concluded or influenced at this show.
Digital ID World Africa provides a meeting place for buyers, sellers and their partners to do the deals that drive Africa’s government and banking sectors. This is where buyers find solutions to their challenges.
