Mr. Aijaaz Shaikh | Joint Director State Bank of Pakistan (The Central Bank)
Aijaz is working as Joint Director, Payment Systems – Policy and Regulation Divisor, State Bank of Pakistan (The Central Bank). His major job responsibilities include the Oversight of e-Banking channels / products, formulation of policies and procedures on Payment Systems and Payment Systems Security. In addition, Aijaz has assisted the development of Oversight Policy Framework on Payment Systems. He has successfully conducted various trainings and workshops on E-Banking Security, Payment and Settlement Systems and E-Frauds and has also participated in international conference / workshop on Payment Security held in Cairo (Egypt), Stockholm (Sweden) and Abu Dhabi (UAE). Aijaz has earned his MSc in Advanced Financial Information Systems (AFIS) with specialization in Information Systems Security from an EQUIS accredited Business School located in Helsinki, Finland. Aijaz joined SBP in 2001.
