Ashraf Al Sayad assumed his current position in 2008 after serving as EGYPTAIR district manager in Tunisia and in Osaka, Japan 2004 - 2008. He joined EGYPTAIR in 1985 tourism division, in 1995 he was appointed as EGYPTAIR/ Tourism division area manager based in Singapore promoting incoming tourism from south west Asia to Egypt.
From 2009 until current he is member of Industry Affairs Committee of International Air Transport Association (IATA).In 2010 he was chairmen of commercial committee of African Airlines Association (AFRAA).  
He was member of Arab Air Carriers Organization (AACO) commercial committee from 2008 to 2011.
During the last 29 years of experience with EGYPTAR he achieved significant level of success in different areas he served. 
He was graduated from faculty of commerce Ain Shams University Egypt Master in Aviation Management from Helwan University Cairo, Egypt.
