Mr Chris Au Young, Assistant General Manager, Airport Authority Hong Kong

Chris Au Young currently leads a number of technological innovation projects and development at the Hong Kong International Airport to enhance passenger experience and operational efficiency. He is active in the engagement with airlines, IATA, solution providers, universities, and research & development centres in Hong Kong in this aspect.

He has been posted in various areas in the Airport Authority Hong Kong since 2006 including airfield operations, baggage operations, and runway capacity development for the third runway. Before joining the Airport Authority, Chris was the Regional Project Manager (North East Asia) at TNT Express. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at Accenture Co. Ltd., a leading IT and management consultancy firm in the world, and delivered a number of management consultancy and IT implementation projects for Fortune 500 companies.

Chris is a Board Member of the Zhuhai Airport Management Company. He is also a Member of HKIE in Logistics & Transportation Discipline. He holds a Master degree in Business Administration from the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology, and a Bechelor degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Hong Kong.
