Ping na Thalang, Human Resources Adviser, Bangkok Airways

Ping na Thalang is the Human Resources Adviser of Bangkok Airways PLC. He is also the IT Adviser to the CEO Group 1 Bangkok Hospital (Bangkok Dusit Medical Services (BDMS) PLC), and the board member of Greenline Synergy Co.,Ltd. - the IT company under the BDMS Group.

At Bangkok Airways, he was the Vice President - Corporate Safety Department and the Chief Strategy Adviser. He was also the Vice President of Information Systems Department for 12 years.

Prior to joining Bangkok Airways, Ping has been an independent computer instructor, programmer, systems analyst and computer consultant for over 14 governmental agencies, local and multinational companies in Thailand, Indonesia and USA from 1983 until 2001.

Ping graduated with a BA in Computer Science from the College of Wooster, USA and completed the Aviation Management Program at Central Missouri State University, USA. He attended numerous aviation courses at the Singapore Aviation Academy and IATA. He has published over 390 articles on ICT and Aviation ICT. He is a member of IEEE Computer Society, Aircraft Owner & Pilot Association (AOPA) and holds Private Pilot License (Fixed Wing Land Airplane with Instrument and Multi-Engine Ratings).
