Mahmud is the founder and CEO of Clarus LLC, a systems engineering firm specializing in Wi-Fi wireless In-Flight Voice Data Convergence solutions with integrated low cost air to ground connectivity. Mahmud spent over 28 years at Honeywell Inc. and Motorola Inc. serving in various systems engineering, program management leadership and marketing & business support roles. He has worked very closely with major airframe OEMs Boeing and Airbus and with a number of leading international airlines including Emirates, Thai Airways and Singapore Airlines deploying and certifying Inmarsat multi-channel Satcom systems. Prior to launching Clarus, he served was Chief Engineer delegate at Honeywell and was responsible for ensuring cross products and platforms technology advantage and functional integrity across all Honeywell Satcom Cabin Network products. Mahmud has earned his BS in Electrical Engineering degree at the University of North Dakota and his Masters International Management (MIM) at the Thunderbird School of Global Management, a unit of Arizona State University (ASU).
