Jason Wong, CEO Asia, Axon Vibe

Jason Wong is a technology strategist and process engineer who generates innovative solutions for Fortune 500 companies and listed companies around the globe.  Having started his consulting career at Deloitte in Detroit (‘The Motor City’), Jason has worked through from plant-floors of General Motors and Nissan advising on process & controls and cyber security, to reviewing technology controls for high-speed financing arbitrage trade systems at Morgan Stanley in Asia.  After 16 years of consulting and auditing experience, Jason transitioned from the financial industry to become the Group Head of IT at Transport International Holdings (holding company of The Kowloon Motor Bus Co. (1933) Ltd) (KMB).  
In 2017, Jason was recruited to join Axon Vibe as its Asia CEO.  Jason’s focus is in spatial and user analytics in the Asia Market, to bring moments of serendipity to passengers when crossing between different modes of transports (MoT).  He aims to use smart technology to reduce friction in passenger’s journey and excite their livelihood through predicting their behaviour, intents, and social interactions. 
Mr. Wong graduated from The CUHK’s Executive MBA program in 2013. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a dual major in Economics, and Japanese Language & Literature from the University of Michigan. He is certified with the following professional accreditations:  CISSP, CISA, CGEIT, AMBCI, and CAMS.

Delight your passengers – Providing a seamless and contextual mobile experience

                In the presentation, Jason will provide insights on how location-based AI technology will enable public transport operators (PTOs) to orchestrate their customers’ door-to-door, multi-modal and on-demand mobility (also known as Mobility-as-a-Service or MaaS).  This powerful platform will enable:
  • Smart Travel Assistant. Create a seamless travel experience for each passenger by automatically sending personalized messages and alerts based on each passenger’s unique preferences and context.
  • Seamless Ticketing.  Understand where passengers get on and off various means of transport (be-in/be-out) with our smart location tracking analytics to make the users’ journey truly ticketless.
  • Ancillary Revenue.  Enable contextual moments marketing and cross-selling of third party services beyond mobility with our predictive analysis to develop new revenues for PTOs.
