Dr Jacob Kam Chak-pui JP
Chief Executive Officer ("CEO")

Dr Kam was appointed as the CEO of MTR Corporation and a member of the Board on 1 April 2019. Before the CEO appointment, Dr Kam held various Managerial and Directorate positions in the Corporation.

As the CEO, Dr Kam is responsible for all performance of the Company and its group companies, both in and outside Hong Kong.

Dr Kam is an Honorary Chairman of the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) and a member of the Board / Council of various professional and community institutions including being a member of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP) Sustainable Business Network (ESBN) Executive Council.

Dr Kam qualified as Chartered Member / Fellow of various international professional institutions in engineering, transport & logistics, business management and occupational safety and health. Dr Kam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering.

He was appointed as a Justice & the Peace in Hong Kong in 2021.
