Dr Yang has a total of 25 years of experiences working in the railway industry.  He participated and involved extensively in the construction and maintenance work of Taiwan High Speed Rail (“HSR”) project.  Since the commencement of Taiwan HSR commercial operation, he initiated and led many projects to resolve track irregularity problems arising from the environmental and geological hazards such as regional ground subsidence and active creeping faults along the HSR alignment.  Dr. Yang currently serves as the CEO of PISTA Technologies as well as the Adjunct Professor at the Railway Technology Research Center (RTRC) in National Taiwan University.  His goal is to develop AI powered Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) methodology to enable and support the Risk-Based Maintenance of railway industry.
