Annafi Zulkifli, Director of Corporate Strategy, MYHSR Corporation Sdn Bhd

Annafi Zulkifli is currently the Director of Corporate Strategy at MyHSR Corporation (MyHSR), tasked with driving development in cities along the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail (HSR) corridor focusing on three components: Economy – Acceleration of priority economic sub-sectors; Inclusivity – Focusing on skills training and access to jobs, entrepreneurship development and affordable housing; Sustainability – Focusing on transit-oriented development (TOD), public transportation and low carbon city.

He is also responsible to set up the blueprint for the HSR industry development, which focuses on supply chain localisation and human capital development. In addition, Annafi is overseeing corporate planning and strategic communications for MyHSR.

His involvement in the public transportation industry started in Prokhas Sdn. Bhd., where he was involved in the establishment of the Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD), leading the
Transformation Management Office and subsequently became the Head of Special Projects. Amongst his significant achievements include obtaining approvals and establishing the delivery setup for the MRT project. He also led the delivery of Go-KL, the free bus service within Kuala Lumpur’s central business district as well as the Interim Stage Bus Support Fund (ISBSF) and “MeterOn,” a taxi mobile application, which received awards from the International Association for Public Transport (UITP).

Annafi graduated from Vanderbilt University, USA with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Mathematics. He began his career as an engineer at PETRONAS and Malakoff as well as a management consultant at Accenture.
