Rajeev Gupta, Senior Lecturer, Haematology, UCL Cancer Institute

Dr Gupta studied Medicine at Leeds University, and undertook his PhD in Molecular Embryology at NIMR Mill Hill (supervisor Peter Rigby). He then trained in haematology at the Hammersmith Hospital and St Mary’s Hospitals in London. Dr Gupta was a post-doc at The Chester Beattie Laboratories (supervisor Tariq Enver) before becoming a consultant haematologist in 2003 at The John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. Since 2011 he has been a consultant haematologist at UCLH and a Senior Lecturer at the UCL Cancer institute, where his interests include understanding cell fate choices in haematopoietic stem cells.
