National Institute of Infectious Diseases

	Hideki Hasegawa, Director, Department of Pathology, at National Institute of Infectious Diseases (NIID), graduated from the Hokkaido University school of medicine in 1993 with M.D. and finished graduate school at Hokkaido University in 1997 with PhD. He studied at the Rockefeller University and Univeristy College Dublin as an postdoctoral fellow. At NIID he is extending his research on the development of mucosal vaccine against influenza viruses.
