How to enter the awards

Important dates to remember

Who can enter

The ViE awards are open to all vaccine practitioners and stakeholders from public sectors, private sectors, and not-for-profit organizations in the vaccine industry.

Step 1: Category selection (Call for Nominations Period – Open to public)

Please select the category you are interested in entering or nominating a person or company for.

• Most Innovative Asian Biotech Excellence Award (Vaccines in development/approved)
• Best Therapeutic Vaccine for Asia Award
• Best Clinical Research Organisation Excellence Award
• Vaccine Executive of the Year Award
• Best Vaccine Pipeline for Asia Award
• Best Manufacturing Solutions provider for Asia Award
• Best LSP Award

Step 2: Compiling your entry

Complete entries are comprised of:
1 completed nomination form: Download the nomination pack here. You may also request for the nomination form to be in Microsoft Word format by emailing renee.tan@terrapinn.com. The form must be completed in order for it to be considered valid.

OR

Complete the online nomination form on http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ViEAsiaNomination2012

AND
 
Supporting materials: These can be client testimonials, survey results, press releases or others – any written document that will support the nomination’s substantiation. You may submit more than 1 supporting document, but the minimum requirement is 1.
 
Project based nominations or entries are highly encouraged. It is important for nominations/entries to be objective and concise in demonstrating the value and significance of their projects and/or practices for an effective judging process.

Step 3: Submitting your nomination

Successfully shortlisted companies / representatives will be contacted to fill up a nomination form and provide supporting documents. The deadline for all nominations to be submitted for consideration by the ViE judges is on or before 1 April 2012 via email to renee.tan@terrapinn.com.
 
Incomplete submissions missing either a nomination form or a supporting document will be considered invalid entries. In the email subject heading, please indicate “Nomination Submission by X Company for the VIE Awards”
 
Upon our receipt of your submission, you will receive an email confirmation. If you do not receive this email confirmation, please contact Renee Tan at renee.tan@terrapinn.com or call her at +65 6322 2785.

Step 4: Voting begins

Voting will be open to all from 1 April-31 May 2012. Voting will make up 50% of the total results.

Step 5: Judges’ review

Judges will review the nomination form from 1 April-31 May 2012. The scoring points will make up 50% of the total results.
The judges will consider the following criteria when scoring all Award entries:
 

Outline (10 out of 100 points)
Outline of why organization/individual should win the category

Objective (10 out of 100 points)
Objective/mission of organization/individual
 

Strategy (20 out of 100 points)
The approach and level of planning to meet the objective

Actual Execution/Implementation (30 out of 100 points)
Appropriateness of the methods used
Originality, innovation and new approaches
Benefits
How well objective is met

Conclusion (30 out of 100 points)
Sustainability of strategy
Impact of programme
Impact on business outcomes
Commercial value of the evaluation
