Dr. Cheng has 28 years’ experience in academy and pharmaceutical industry. He has more than 45 publications in peer reviewed journals, 1 patent and invited speaker in multiple national and international conferences and workshops. He is recipient of Bernard Zussman Lectureship from University of Tennessee. He has extensive experience in CMC section in early, late phases and commercial biological drugs
Dr. Cheng obtained PhD in Chemistry and Biochemistry from University Notre Dame, post doctoral training at California Institute of Technology in cell biology and immunology under supervision of Professor Leroy Hood and executive MBA degree from Rutgers University with concentration in Finance. He was an assistant professor at University of Tennessee before joining pharmaceutical industry. He joined NIAID in 2016.
