Our shortlist has now been announced. If you are shortlisted your organisation will be contacted for a submission to be passed to our Scientific Advisory Board.
The winners for each category will be announced during the VIE Awards Ceremony on April 10th 2017.
These awards have been created to honor and generate recognition of the efforts, accomplishments, and positive contributions of companies and individuals in the vaccine industry. The 10th Annual ViE Awards provide a time and a place to celebrate the industry’s most outstanding achievements.
Our mission is to create a platform for industry to identify and reward those companies and individuals who have demonstrated an unparalleled ability to succeed and to continually set standards of excellence. More importantly, to reward those who have contributed the greatest in the past 12 months. 10 categories will be hotly contested in 2017.
If you would like to join us for the evening and attend the Awards you need to be a registered attendee of the World Vaccine Congress Washington taking place 10th-12th April, or contact us directly to check availability.
From the start of the process on December 7th , any company within the vaccine industry can nominate themselves, clients, partners or any organisation they feel worthy for the relevant 10 Awards Categories.
On January 13th this nominating process will close and the list of companies put forward will be made available for voting to begin from the industry, on who they want to win the specific Awards category. At this point we strongly recommend those companies put forward to share the voting with colleagues, partners, clients and peers within the vaccine industry who would feel strongly and want to vote for said specific company in that category. Outside of this we will be reaching out to the entire vaccine industry to ask for votes on who they feel is a worthy winner of each award from those put forward.
On 24th February voting will be frozen, and the top 6 shortlisted companies in each category will be identified and contacted to fill out the official ViE Awards Submission document . The final shortlist will be publicly announced on March 3rd where voting will then continue with just the shortlisted companies available to continue the process, until March 13th where voting will close. At this point the votes and Awards Submission document are provided to the Scientific Advisory Board to determine the winners which are announced on the evening of the 10th April at the 10th ViE Awards Dinner.
All of the above process will be made public via the World Vaccine Congress Washington website and VaccineNation community blog and accompanying marketing channels to enable the wider industry to cast their vote on the throughout the process. These votes will be accrued and will accompany the Scientific Advisory Board scores to give an overall aggregate score.
The ViE Awards prides itself on its scientific advisory board, comprised of senior industry representatives from governmental organizations, academia, industry wide experts and affiliate member associations, pharmaceutical and biotech. Each of the panellists are chosen for their knowledge, objectivity and credibility.
The board mark each submission form against each criteria for its category and the scores marked out of a possible 10 for each criteria. Additional bonus marks will also be awarded by the external voting process. Scores are then collated by the ViE Awards team.
Details of the winners are strictly embargoed until the evening Awards ceremony on the 10th April 2017.
