Jan Span, Member of the Cross-Committee Task Force on Registries and Senior Clinical Assessor, Medicines Evaluation Board The Netherlands

Jan studied Medicine, Computer Sciences and Clinical Pharmacology at the Catholic University, Nijmegen, Netherlands. He also has a PhD on growth hormone deficiency in adults from the same institution. 
 
Jan’s has worked as a medical computer scientist, a medical sciences lecturer and, since 1990, has been a clinical pharmacology assessor at the Dutch Medicines Evaluation Board (MEB).  Jan’s is a European clinical expert (EMA) on, amongst others, endocrinology, gastrointestinal disorders and urology.  Jan has held a number of positions on National and International Committees and is currently amongst others member of the Cross-Committee Task Force on Patient Registries.
