Erin Farris, Director of Project Management, joined ARG in January 2007 and has been a growing, integral part of our team ever since. Erin began her career at ARG as a CRA and has worked tirelessly to enhance her knowledge and experience in the industry by moving onwards and upwards from CRA I, CRA II, LCRA, Project Manager, Project Director and now resides as a Director of Project Management. Erin began her career by obtaining a breadth of lab experience using molecular and biochemistry techniques as well as learning to operate the MALDI-TOF and LCQ-Ion Trap ESI/MS/MS and ICRFT instruments. Just prior to joining ARG, Erin was at the University of Virginia Human Immune Therapy Center, which is a groundbreaking center for cancer research. Erin was the primary in-house monitor for all sponsored clinical research trials, which included 7 active studies, two of which were Multi-Institutional (MI). In addition to managing two MI clinical trials for three ongoing studies, one being an ECOG study, Erin also acted as a liaison for the MI sites regarding protocol and operational procedures and drug accountability, as well as Co-study chair Liaison for the ECOG/cooperative study group. She holds a B.S. in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry from Virginia Tech and has received graduate training in Health Evaluation Sciences from the University of Virginia. She holds a CCRA certificate with the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
