Carolyn joined Shire ( formerly Baxalta, formely Baxter) in November 2008 and has close to 24 yrs of experience in the healthcare industry initially in Europe and for the last 14 years in Asia in both the device and Pharma /Biotech sector.
 
Carolyn began her healthcare career in research then moved over to in Industry. She  works  in a position support  patient’s  access to appropriate care/treatment and support programs.
 
Since working in Asia Carolyn has developed a real desire to make a difference in the emerging markets and has seen the critical importance of patient access in these geographies. 
She has lived in Hong Kong, Japan and now Singapore.
 
Carolyn has a masters in Forensic Science (Kings College London) a BSc in Genetics and  a CIM Diploma in Marketing. She is currently studying part-time for a Masters in Public Health(MPH) with the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine
