Mr Nicholas Maden | SVP Exploration International Statoil
Nick Maden joined Statoil in January 2011 as Senior Vice President responsible for International Exploration at Statoil. Prior to taking up this role he was Exploration Vice President for International and East Coast exploration at Petro-Canada and then Suncor. Nick has a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Kings College, London, and a Master of Science in Petroleum Geology from Imperial College, London. Following college he began his career as a geologist with ARCO International in 1984. He was primarily based in the UK, but between 1993 and 1999 he was seconded to their international headquarters located in Plano, Texas. Nick has more than 25 years experience in the oil industry working in a number of positions and geographic areas.
