Ralph Anker | Editor anna.aero
Ralph Anker is Editor of anna.aero (Airline Network News & Analysis) the popular on-line resource for airline and airport route planners.
After gaining a degree in Mathematics and a Masters in Management Science and Operations Research (both from the University of Warwick), Ralph then spent almost 15 years as an academic, researcher and consultant at Cranfield University. He joined Maersk Air Ltd in Birmingham as Head of Business Development in 2000 before joining BA’s low-cost subsidiary Go in 2001 as Head of Network Planning. After easyJet acquired Go in 2002 he stayed on until the end of the year as part of the network planning team. After a period of consultancy (for the likes of dba and SkyEurope), and a brief return to academia, Ralph joined PPS Publications as Editor of anna.aero in 2007. This has enabled him to combine his passion for analysis, statistics and the air transport industry. He lives near Oxford, is married and has one son.
