Jochen Schnadt, Commercial Director, Monarch Airlines

Jochen joined Monarch Airlines in July 2011 as Commercial Director and is responsible for the commercial development of the airline as well as network & commercial planning, revenue management & pricing, sales & distribution and product innovation. Prior to joining Monarch, Joch was Strategy and Business Unit Manager for Aer Lingus, where he incorporated a JV with United Airlines as well as a new regional franchise programme, before joining Qatar Airways, where he undertook the role of Manager Network Strategy. Joch also ran a start-up Capacity Purchase venture backed by SkyWest Inc. for four years, whilst also consulting for a number of leading airlines including BA and Virgin’s Virgin Nigeria Airways. Before that he worked for Eurocontrol for 10 years in air-traffic control and air-traffic management.
