Anne Poupon, Cnrs/Inra, University of Tours

Dr. Anne Poupon is Senior Scientist at the CNRS, heading the group Biology and Bioinformatics of Signalling Systems. After MS degrees in Biochemistry and in Mathematics, she has obtained a PhD thesis on the conservation of hydrophobicity in globular proteins. Since then she has been developing algorithms for Structural Biology. She has first developed protein-protein docking algorithms, allowing fast and accurate prediction of multi-proteic assemblies. She has now specialized in computational methods for the development of antibodies: determining of the epitope, identifying cross-reactions, finding new candidates binding to an identified epitope.
