Blaine Pfeifer, Assoc. Prof., State University of New York at Buffalo

Blaine Pfeifer received his Ph.D. from Stanford University and completed a postdoctoral position at MIT, both in chemical engineering.  He is now an associate professor at the State University of New York at Buffalo.  A significant portion of his research efforts are dedicated to new vectors specific for antigen presenting cell gene delivery and genetic vaccine development.  To that end, his group has focused on unique “hybrid” vectors that combine the engineering capabilities of normally distinct vector classes.
