Yan Ou was appointed to the position of Managing Director of China Telecom (Europe) Limited in April 2006, the company’s first European venture. In this role he is responsible for all China Telecom’s business operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, driving business growth and ensuring China Telecom Europe becomes the leading Integrated Communication Solution provider between Europe and Asia. Prior to his present role, Ou played an instrumental part in setting up China Telecom Hong Kong International, the Asia Pacific arm of China Telecom. He has contributed immensely to the global expansion plan of China Telecom to become the world class integrated service provider.
