Peter Zwinkels, VP Global Sales, Subsea, Infinera Corporation

Peter Zwinkels, Global Sales VP, is responsible for growing Infinera’s worldwide subsea business. Peter has over 18 years’ experience in sales and business development in the global telecommunications industry.
Prior to joining Infinera, Peter worked at Aqua Comms, where he was Chief Commercial Officer, responsible for driving  global commercial strategy and product development for Aqua Comms’ transatlantic network solutions. Prior to that, Peter worked at Ciena, where he was one of the original members of the global submarine sales team that was successful in penetrating the submarine upgrade market.  Prior to joining Ciena, Peter held sales and business development positions at Nortel and Siemens. Peter holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering & Management from Twente University in the Netherlands.
